Frequently Asked Questions
Answers on how we engage, how we handle security and data, and how to get started with Cystem X.
Browse by topic below, or use the contact form if your question is not answered here.
What engagement models does Cystem X offer?
Three core models: a fixed-scope project with defined deliverables, a dedicated team embedded with yours, or an ongoing managed service. We recommend the right model after an initial discovery call based on your goals, timeline and internal capacity.
Can I combine engagement models, for example start with an assessment?
Yes. Many clients start with a short assessment or advisory engagement, then move into a fixed-scope project or a dedicated team once priorities and budget are confirmed.
How are projects priced?
Pricing depends on scope, engagement model and timeline, so we do not publish fixed rates. Share your requirements through the contact form and a solution architect will discuss options on a discovery call.
Do you work with organizations outside Pakistan?
Yes. Cystem X delivers to clients worldwide from its global delivery center in Gujrat, Pakistan, with teams that align to client time zones for active engagements.
Does Cystem X offer a short pilot before a larger commitment?
Yes, for qualifying engagements. A scoped pilot or proof of concept can be arranged after the discovery call once a solution architect has reviewed your requirements and constraints.
How does Cystem X handle data security during a project?
Every engagement follows least-privilege access, encrypted data handling and documented security controls. Access is scoped to what each engagement actually requires and reviewed on a regular basis.
Can Cystem X sign a non-disclosure agreement before discussing details?
Yes. NDAs are available before any discovery call, and are standard practice for government, defense and sensitive commercial engagements.
Does Cystem X use any third-party analytics or tracking on this website?
No. This website does not use third-party analytics or tracking cookies. Contact form submissions are used only to respond to your inquiry. See the Privacy Policy for details.
What happens to data submitted through the contact form?
Contact form data is used only to respond to your inquiry and is retained only as long as needed for that purpose. You can request access to or deletion of your data at any time through the contact form.
Can our security team review Cystem X's access controls before kickoff?
Yes. For regulated or sensitive engagements, your security team can review Cystem X's access model, tooling and encryption approach as part of onboarding, typically under the signed NDA.
Can Cystem X deliver fully on-premises or in an air-gapped environment?
Yes. Public cloud, private cloud, on-premises and fully air-gapped delivery are all supported. The right environment is selected based on your data residency and regulatory requirements.
How does on-premises or air-gapped delivery affect updates and support?
Disconnected environments use a controlled update process with offline packaging and verification, so models, software and security patches can be applied without a live internet connection.
Is sovereign or air-gapped delivery only for government and defense clients?
No. Regulated commercial sectors such as banking, healthcare and energy also use private cloud, on-premises or air-gapped delivery for sensitive workloads.
Can Cystem X staff work on-site inside a secure facility?
Yes, where required. On-site delivery inside a secured facility can be arranged for government, defense and other highly regulated engagements, subject to the facility's own access and clearance requirements.
What hours does Cystem X operate?
Core hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00 PKT (UTC+5).
How does Cystem X work with clients in very different time zones?
For active engagements, delivery teams shift or extend working hours to overlap with client time zones, and asynchronous handoffs are used to keep work moving outside overlapping hours.
Can we request a dedicated point of contact instead of rotating staff?
Yes. Dedicated-team and managed-service engagements are assigned a named point of contact who coordinates with your team throughout the engagement.
How do I get started with Cystem X?
Submit the contact form with a short description of what you are building, securing or modernizing. A solution architect will respond within one business day to schedule a discovery call.
How quickly can a project actually start after the first call?
Most assessments start within 1 to 2 weeks of a signed statement of work. Dedicated-team ramp-up typically takes 2 to 4 weeks depending on role complexity and security clearances where applicable.
What information should I prepare before the first call?
A short summary of your goals, current systems or constraints, timeline and any regulatory or security requirements is enough to start. Detailed technical documentation can follow under NDA.
What if I am not sure which service area fits my need?
That is common. Describe your goal or problem in the message field and select "Something else" as the inquiry type if nothing else fits; a solution architect will help map it to the right service during the discovery call.
