Working With Us
How public bodies and primes engage Cystem X - registration, procurement routes, NDAs, security requirements, vetting and data-handling commitments.
Working with a public institution or a prime contractor follows a different rhythm than a typical enterprise sale, and Cystem X's Government & Defense practice is built around that rhythm rather than trying to force a generic sales process onto it.
Most relationships start with an expression of interest and a pre-qualification step, where we share the information a procurement or security team needs to assess fit: company registration details, relevant capability summaries and references to the frameworks we align with. Where a vendor registration or pre-qualification process already exists on your side, we complete it rather than asking you to adapt to ours.
Non-disclosure agreements are available before any discovery call that touches sensitive requirements, and we are comfortable working under whatever NDA template your legal or procurement team prefers, provided it allows us to resource and scope the engagement properly.
Security requirements and vetting vary by engagement: some projects need only standard commercial due diligence, others require personnel vetting, facility requirements or specific accreditation before work can begin. We scope these requirements early, during pre-qualification, so they do not surface as a surprise once a contract is in motion.
Data-handling commitments are documented, not assumed: what data we will touch, where it will live, who can access it and how it is disposed of at the end of an engagement. These commitments are agreed in writing before any data is shared, consistent with the sovereignty and auditability principles described across our Government & Defense practice.
Every engagement is assigned a named point of contact on the Cystem X side from pre-qualification onward, so procurement and technical counterparts always know who to reach. The fastest way to start is the contact form, with a note on which stage - expression of interest, pre-qualification or an active procurement - you are at.
How engagement differs by counterparty
The core discipline is the same; the entry path and documentation emphasis differ.
Civilian agencies and public institutions typically engage us through an open or limited tender, or through a direct expression of interest followed by pre-qualification. Evaluation usually centers on technical capability, references to frameworks we align with, and standard commercial due diligence.
- Registration against the agency's own vendor or supplier list
- Technical and commercial proposal against a published or shared scope
- Standard data-protection and service-level commitments
- Pilot-first delivery, often scoped to a single service or department
Defense organizations and the primes that support them generally engage us as a specialist technology subcontractor on a defined software, data, AI, cyber or infrastructure scope, inside an existing accreditation and security framework. Engagement is NDA-first, and personnel or facility vetting is scoped before a statement of work is signed.
- NDA executed before any requirements discussion
- Personnel, facility and accreditation requirements scoped early
- Delivery inside the prime's or agency's existing security boundary
- Documented, auditable data-handling commitments from day one
