Secure Communications
Secure Communications
Hardened WAN/LAN, segmented networks and encrypted connectivity, engineered for resilient communications in distributed operations.
Distributed public institutions and defense organizations depend on networks that stay up and stay private across many sites, some of them remote or temporary. Cystem X designs and builds the hardened wide-area and local-area networks that connectivity like this depends on.
Network segmentation keeps a single compromised site or device from becoming an incident across the whole network. We design zone boundaries around the sensitivity of the systems inside them, so a breach in a low-sensitivity segment cannot move laterally into higher-sensitivity zones without passing through controlled, monitored chokepoints.
Encrypted connectivity between sites, and between field locations and core infrastructure, is designed for the realities of distributed operations: variable bandwidth, intermittent links and the need to re-establish a secure session quickly after an outage rather than requiring a lengthy manual reconnection.
Where secure messaging is part of the requirement, we integrate it with existing directory, identity and endpoint-management systems rather than standing it up as an isolated tool, so it inherits the same access controls and audit coverage as the rest of the environment.
Resilience is tested, not assumed: we design failover paths and run connectivity exercises so that a single link or site failure degrades service gracefully instead of causing a full outage for distributed teams.
