Data Engineering & Database Services
Reliable, governed data - from high-availability databases to streaming pipelines and analytics platforms that power AI.
Overview
AI and analytics initiatives rarely fail because of the model or the dashboard. They fail because the underlying data was not reliable, governed or available when it was needed. Cystem X engineers the data layer that everything else depends on: highly available databases across PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis and Cassandra, tuned and administered for the workload rather than left on default configuration. We build streaming and event-driven pipelines using Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS and Debezium for organizations that need data moving in near real time, and modern data platforms on Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Spark, Airflow and dbt for teams consolidating data for analytics and AI. Analytics and business intelligence work, delivered through Power BI, Superset or Metabase, turns that governed data into something decision-makers actually use. Data governance - ownership, quality, lineage and access control - runs through every engagement, because a pipeline that moves ungoverned data quickly just moves the problem downstream instead of solving it.

Capability depth
Relative delivery focus across our core data engineering capability areas.
Capability depth reflects our delivery focus and engineering bench strength in each area, not a certification or audited score.
How we deliver
A consistent four-stage delivery path, from first assessment to ongoing operation.
Assess
We review current data sources, quality and availability against what your analytics and AI initiatives actually need.
Design
Architects design the database, pipeline and governance model before data starts moving between systems.
Build
Engineers build and tune the databases and pipelines, validating performance against real data volumes.
Operate
We administer and monitor the data platform, managing performance, availability and governance over time.
Outcomes
What changes for your organization once this pillar is in place.
High availability
Tuned, monitored databases stay available under real production load, not just in testing.
Trustworthy data
Governed, quality-checked data means AI and analytics outputs can actually be trusted by decision-makers.
Faster reporting cycles
Modern data platforms replace manual data wrangling with pipelines that keep dashboards current.
Documented data governance
Clear ownership, lineage and access policy mean data use stays accountable as the platform grows.
